Also in accordance with National Library Week, let's discuss Judy Blume! The best-selling author and intellectual freedom advocate is the 2014 National Library Week honorary chair. Judy Blume has discussed that she found her first favorite books sitting on the floor of the children's room of the public library in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She has written 28 books and recently co-wrote/produced the film adaptation of her YA novel Tiger Eyes. Blume was also the deserving recipient of the Margaret A. Edwards Award for Lifetime Achievement from the American Library Association.
